Our story starts with our founder and patriarch, Brendan E. Cryan. Brendan was a proud Notre Dame Alumni, class of 1953, as well as a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps before he became a member of the American Stock Exchange in 1956.

With his invigorating zeal for life and eternal optimism, Brendan was able to instill these qualities into all those who were lucky to work with him.An eternal optimist, Brendan would quote Winston Churchill whenever the going got tough and some of his favorite lines included, “Never, never, never give up!” as well as “Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is courage to continue that counts.”

Brendan’s leadership, character, and vision still act as guiding principles for our firm.
